Red Elm Psychotherapy is a psychologist-owned private practice based in Vienna, Virginia, specializing in OCD, anxiety disorders, and perinatal mental health. We provide evidence-based, compassionate care while building a sustainable and supportive environment for clinicians.
As our referral network continues to grow, we are seeking a licensed psychologist to join our team and help expand access to high-quality outpatient therapy in the Northern Virginia area.

Location: Vienna, VA (Hybrid: Telehealth + Optional In-Person)
Start Date: Fall 2026
Compensation: $112.50 – $137.50 per clinical hour (Based on a competitive 45%–55% split of our premium $250 private-pay rate).
This position is ideal for a licensed psychologist who enjoys outpatient therapy and wants the support of a collaborative group practice while maintaining autonomy over clinical work and scheduling.
About the Role
We are seeking a clinician who will provide individual psychotherapy to adults and build a steady caseload following onboarding as part of a growing private practice.
What You’ll Do
Provide individual psychotherapy to adults.
Conduct intake evaluations and develop evidence-based treatment plans.
Maintain timely and ethical clinical documentation.
Participate in optional case consultation.
Deliver services via telehealth, with optional in-person work in Vienna, VA.
Ideal Qualifications
Required:
Licensed Psychologist (PhD or PsyD).
Eligible for independent practice in Virginia.
Strong clinical skills with adult populations.
Commitment to evidence-based practice.
Excellent clinical judgment and communication skills.
Preferred (not required):
Experience treating OCD and anxiety disorders.
Experience with Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP).
Experience with perinatal or postpartum populations.

Training & Clinical Development
We welcome psychologists with strong generalist backgrounds who are interested in developing specialty skills. Consultation and training in OCD treatment, ERP, and perinatal mental health are available for clinicians interested in expanding their expertise.
Caseload & Growth
As an independent contractor, clinicians build their caseload following onboarding, based on availability and clinical fit.
